Social platforms offer no formatting toolbar: there is no bold button for your bio or caption. The common workaround is Unicode characters — separate letters that simply look bold or italic.
This generator shows your text in ten styles instantly: bold, italic, bold italic, script, fraktur, monospace, outline, small caps, strikethrough and underline. Copy, paste, done — the formatting survives because it is part of the text itself.
One important caveat: screen readers often cannot read these characters meaningfully, and platform search will not match them as normal words. Use them for emphasis, not for your entire text.
Frequently asked questions
Is this real bold text?
No. These are separate Unicode characters that look bold. That is why they work anywhere you can paste text — no platform formatting feature required.
Why do accented letters like ä, ö, ü stay normal?
Because most of these alphabets simply do not include them — Unicode has no bold "ü". They are left unchanged, which makes words with accents look slightly inconsistent.
Does it work on all devices?
On modern devices, yes. Very old systems or unusual fonts may show some characters as boxes.
Does it hurt my discoverability?
It can. Search will not recognise "𝗯𝗶𝗼" as "bio". Keep important keywords in normal text.
Is my text stored anywhere?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser.
